Disappointed Hirvonen reflects on title loss – BP-Ford’s Mikko Hirvonen came within one point (and one faulty hood-pin) of winning the 2009 FIA World Rally Championship’s driver’s title. Unfortunately for the Finn, reigning champion Sebastien Loeb had an inspired drive at the season-ending Wales Rally GB and in the process claimed his sixth consecutive title. Loeb will go down as the greatest rally driver ever, while Hirvonen can only look back and wonder what would have been.

The United States Rally Championship announces 2009 United States Rally Champions – USRC has put out the championship results from the 2009 season. Keith Jackson is the overall champion. Also announced were plans to change the future calendars, including moving International Rally New York to mid-September.

Rossi could delay switch to four wheels – Valentino Rossi has flirted with rally for a few years now. The MotoGP legend is keen on making the switch to four-wheels and a roll cage but apparently has unfinished business on a bike.

Excitebike remake coming to WiiWare – I wasted several years of my childhood playing this game. I hope the remake does the original justice. It was one-of-a-kind.
